Worked great before the update? I have loved this game since the day it was first launched on CD many years ago. I will sadly miss this game as I truly loved the game, the sewer mission took me 35 mins to learn and it is by far my favourite mission in the game. To get this game to work properly though you MUST turn EVERYTHING to zero, graphics, etc.etc.. So, goodby great game I will miss you forever! ;(. I remember when this came out. My dad had bought it for me and I spent hours playing this. I just recently remembered this game and thought id look it up. Was glad to see it was in the steam store. Its a bit more boring now that im approaching my 30s but I still enjoyed this blast from that past. Is it super emersive? No. Is it super fun? Not really. But it holds a place close to my heart so I mean for me its worth it. But for someone who just randomly happened across it, id say stay away.. it will start now great game. Horrible. This game was very fun it had a variety of tactics and weapons it also had a lot of maps and it was very hard at some points but I overall enjoined it.. My First PC Game>Superb AI>TOC this is entry team(classic). Wow, I am almost in tears. I spent so many years playing this when I was a younger lad and to see and hear it again after so long is something special. There is an element of tactical enjoyment that this game offers that nothing else seems to come close to.I don't know why so many people are reporting problems getting it to run, it must be a hardware issue or software conflict within their system. This booted right up and ran fine on the first go.There used to be a website called 10-David or something like that way back in the day which had tons of mods for this. I think it has long since closed down but this was a highly modded game 17 year ago. So many memories.... Loved playing this game back in the day, but this new port is such a headache to get working.Constantly crashing, have spent 45 minutes as of this review trying to fix an error I keep getting.Tried 3 fixes so far, none worked, I can start the game, but once I click anything that triggers the movie I crash.Windows 7 users bewareBreaks my heart to give one of my childhood favorite games a No, but they could have atleast got it working before they re-released it. Gunna try fixing it for another hour before I refund it.
