The removal of the adventure mode made the game a lot more deterministic, to the point where you can specify a sequence of steps for the entire 10 year span that will give you a particular outcome. Once you can do that, it's no longer a daughter raising game, it's just a glorified branching visual novel. Go play Princess Maker 2 instead, it's much better.. 2-3 weeks after launch all noticeable bugs were fixed so dev is actualy listening to the community feedback.I really like a lot the sprites because you kinda see more in details what the heroine doing, I think I'm going to miss it a lot in futur.I also like that she finaly has a personality and again I think that's a feature that will disapear in the next game.If you want to jump into the serie it's the perfect ep to do it because it's more balanced than Princess maker 2 in term of money. But less different endings. For example, il PM2 you can have an ending where she get married (or not)+the job she will do. Here, so far, you only get 1 of the 2.Anyway, in general, I like the game more than PM2.. This game is garbage. Don't waste your money. Worse than PM2, even worse than PM1. Fewer features, much less voice acting, no working fullscreen feature, constantly crashes, and the translation job is somehow even worse than PM1 and PM2. Hell, it's worse than google translate.. I love this game! I honestly think that this is better than its predecesors. It never lags, you can control the text speed, the translation is more accurate and the graphics itself is better.. Basically I excepted the Chinese version before it really came up. However, this language update makes me extremely disappointed. There are numerous translation mistakes and bugs in the game. Pretty good, it lacks the rpg elements of the earlier games but it really doesn't lose much unless you really liked it for some reason. The most casual of princess maker trilogy available on steam rn, its a much more relaxed and enjoyable experience for newcomers. The only complaint I have is that the ending criterias can make the game a little guide heavy if you want to 100% it.. Cute and adorable game, where you can totally decide a life of a little girl who used to be a fairy. You can make her a queen, a princess, a scholar, a soldier, a farmer, a criminal, an angel or a demon, depend on your decision and planning.The game itself is pretty good, but Steam achievement system sucks. Several achievements I've already made still don't count on Steam, while some of achievements I never made are somehow already unlocked. I wonder when would they fix this problem.. so far it is tons of fun ,a couple of the acheivements are broken and you receive them upon starting the game but I am sure they will fix that asap.
